This just in from friend Ailie, who shared the following link to a little-known fact about libraries:

They will lend you fishing gear.

That is correct. Fishing gear. As in, rods, reels, lures, hooks, and all. Since most people don't fish most of the time, it's the perfect occasional item for a PSS. If you're in Coventry, North Scituate or, Lincoln, RI, stop by with your library card one day this summer and spend an afternoon at the lake.
